Camping

So for those of you who know me really well, know that my school and work is my life, behind my kids... Well THIS weekend I took 36 hours off and went off the grid... No, I did not stay home... do you have your seatbelts on... THIS GIRL went camping... well as my friends would say "Glamping"

Yes we did have hot water showers and toilets, but that was about it... we cooked on the grill and fire and went swimming and fishing... Though this was not the Hilton by any means, it was a great time!

We got to go with 2 other family friends and there were 6 adults and 8 kids and it was a blast!!!!

So now that I am back in stafford... I was already back to work to make sure everything is ready for the first day of teacher orientation and now I am home!

Life of working full time and going to school full time

Hi Friends and Family!


So since our adoption is over and now I am back to reality, I figure I would blog my final year of my dissertation and preparing to making the leap into administration...


So first and foremost... the kids are doing great! Kai is going to 2nd grade, Kainoa is going to Kindergarten and Keilana is going to PK.  They are growing up so fast!


We also have an au pair, Laura, who is absolutely amazing and I could not imagine our life without her.


Me... well let's see... I am still working full time at NSHS, continuing my administration hours, leader for Kai's girl scout troop, teaching CCD for church, taking Kainoa to all his medical appointments and getting ready for his big surgery in September, and finally writing my dissertation... so yes, I am busy and thank goodness I do time management or I would probably loose my mind...


So I figure I would take you along to my journey, just when you think that you are busy... take a look... we are all busy and we can do this! Stay motivated! :)
